LIGHT WIND, LET’S TAKE OUT THE FOIL BOARD FOR THE FIRST SESSIONS IN ESSAOUIRA!
Foil boarding remains tentative in Essaouira, few riders had a chance to try it on the spot. The equipment remains costly, the practice requires a good command before being able to teach it, and above all, patience. Those who have already tried it, regardless of their level in kiteboarding, all say the same thing: “It’s like becoming a beginner again!”

We thus expect to spend most of the time in the water rather than out of the water…
But once the foil board is tamed, how good to fly, to feel the speed, to ride upwind with such ease and fluidity!
Ismail had the opportunity to make his first try in Cape Verde in January 2017, and after a short time to get familiar with the foil board, he was already tacking upwind without difficulty! Today, with his friend Jérôme Verva who possesses his own foil board, Ismail keeps on training in Essaouira, a great chance with this April’s wind that remains quite light for the beginning of the season.

In any case, the smile after each session says it all!
